Compliance Officer
(Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
- The position ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct.
- Audit companies for compliance and identify all shortfalls and deficiencies from a regulatory and audit perspective
- Work with existing divisions to develop a plot to right all deficiencies and report out to senior partners on a regular basis
- Develop an ongoing reporting system to monitor the risk and compliance issues .
- Coordinate the compliance audits conducted by regulatory agencies
- Work closely with senior management to develop long term risk and compliance controls
Requirements:
- The candidate should have the following specific skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (min GPA 3.0/4.0), accounting or related financial study areas;
- Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in the stock brokerage industry.
- Should be familiar with Broker Dealer Regulations, Clearing Operations, Stock Lending, Prime Brokerage, Stock Brokerage Operational Rules and Regulations, Anti-Money Laundering, KYC, internal controls and policy and procedures adherence.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills;
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English (provide TOEFL score if available);
