Mechanical Engineer for Product Engineering Department
(Jawa Timur – Surabaya)
Responsibilities:
- To do engineering activities for different components of CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) Boiler such as buckstays, casings, duscts, pressure parts, piping: establih, check, rework and complete of relevant 3D model; general arrangement drawings; assembly drawings; sub-assembly drawings; detailed drawings;bills of materials; purchasing technical specifications; coordination and agreement with suppliers when necessary. The activities include performing necessary mechanical calculation for basic design of the associated drawings/models.
- The tasks will also include the following activities: manage, check and control of outsourced work packages; technical supportfrom purchasing request to commissioning of all designed components.
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical Enggineering or Metal Work Engineering.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in engineering of utility or industrial boilers.
- Experience with CAD system and having experience with 3D softwares is an advantage (such as PDMS Solid EDGE, or Bentley Microstation).
- Familiar with boiler / pressure part’s applicable codes and standards (i.e. ASME).
- Knowledge of basic stress calculation including metallurgy.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Surabaya (with the possibility of overseas travelling/assignments)
