Product Development Engineering Manager
(Jawa Timur – Surabaya)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating company’s Product designing efforts, ensuring that all components, parts and specifications of products comply with the original design, and that such products are maintained within appearance, functionality, reliability and cost parameters.
- Prepare and/ or review shop drawings and component drawings for all products.
- Work with closely with Production and quality control department.
- Interface with Designer, customers representative, and Sales to contribute to customer issue resolution.
- Well versed in materials and manufacturing processes ranging from wood to metal to upholstery and veneers etc.
- Supervise sample makers and draftman.
Requirements:
- Proven history of solving product engineering challenges: cost reduction and reliability.
- Working effectively with Designer, Production team, PPIC & Sales to solve issues
- Strong experience in Hospitality industry furniture wooden and upholstery furniture is desirable
- Min S1 degree in architect, industrial engineering and related.
- Strong knowledge and function of product development for hospitality industry & upholstery product.
- Min 3-5 yrs experiences, previous experience in woodworking industry/wooden furniture.
- Comprehension of Production routing, BOM and High level of comprehension in technical drawing.
- Excellent English speaking skills
- Computer Literate : Auto CAD (latest version), MS office, 3DMax, CorelDraw/photoshop.
- Strong leadership, teamwork and managerial skill.
