We are one of world’s leading German producers of rotary metal cutting tools. With worldwide 4500 employees we produce cutting tools in highest quality such as taps, drills, endmills, reamers, tools with changeable inserts and cutting tool chucking systems.

Guhring is worldwide represented with 26 production places and 32 service centres. The headquarters are based in Germany. For our wholly owned subsidiary in Indonesia we are looking for the highly qualified for:

SALES MANAGER INDONESIA

• With strong personality who can manage and cover the full spectrum of all sales and marketing related tasks of a growing subsidiary with the focus of building strong customer relations and sales.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate matches the following requirements:

• Indonesian national or Japanese with Indonesian cultural background and perfect knowledge in speaking and writing Indonesian language
• Foreign language skills: English or / and German, excellent written and spoken skills are essential.
• Experienced sales manager with profound technical knowledge and with at least 3 years of practical sales experience, preferably in cutting tool / machine tool business.
• Access to vital market potentials in the automotive industry, subcontractors, and other mechanical engineering industry.
• University Mechanical Engineering degree or comparable education with technical and commercial background and experience.
• Capability, skill and competence in leading, training and enlarging a sales team.
• Technical skills in metal cutting- and machine tool industry.
• Strong personality with “hands on” mentality, reliable, initiative, self motivated, active, resilient, acting independently, acting customer oriented with distinctive drive for the acquisition of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Full organisation- and plotting responsibility for the entire sales and marketing department. Reporting to MD.
  Sales Targets and budgets will be defined together with the MD and are then under responsibility of the Sales Manager.

The main tasks will include:

• Development of a sales strategy, elaboration of a sales distribution and marketing policy.
• Increase of market share through broad-based marketing of whole product spectrum.
• Collaboration with the MD and with the German headquarters.
• Yucky profits and sale and profit margin responsibility
• Technical support of our customers and dealers. Collaboration with our technicians from the German head quarters.
• Reporting of special customers and market demands to MD and headquarter.
• Managing, organizing, training and instructing sales stuff.
• Elaboration of yearly budget in cooperation with MD.
• The position offers strong prospects for selected candidate and the chance of overtaking further responsibilities with the growing of the subsidiary.
