Senior Engineering Associate, Dicing
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for daily engineering operations relevant to SEMICON mechanical dicing/lamination/coating/cleaning processes
- Support the qualification, ramping and transfer of manufacturing processes from the US to Singapore
- Support continuous improvement projects for the enhancement of yield and process capability
- Provide technical input for equipment and process decisions to meet small and long-term product requirements
- Provide creative insight into tooling and fixture configurations
- Do process control plans
- Document and update work instructions, FMEA, OCAPs and process travellers
- Conduct training and certification programs for production operators as required
- Ensure the continuity of product supply to specifications
- Collaborate with the Process Development teams to fulfill process/product transfer requirements
- Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science, or a related Engineering discipline
- Brilliant English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Hands-on mechanical skills
- Creative problem-solving skills via data analysis and brilliant time management skills
- Able to work in small teams and independently
- Well-versed in MS Office applications and basic AutoCAD
Willing to perform shift duties and work for extended hours as required, depending on the demands of our Fab start-up
