SITE SUPERVISOR
Background

Scope of Assignment
- The Site Supervisor will be mostly located on client’s site, provide best in-class, mechanical engineering and his/her management skill for his/her assistants.
The role covers: equipment and flow design, performance monitoring, maintenance and reliability management, operations support. Undertaking projects from pre-commissioning to commercial go-live and client handover.
Objective
- To enhance Green Power’s customer’s energy performance in term of quality, cost and safety through innovative improvements and delivery of service
- To provide processes and designs that contribute towards developing and enhancing Green Power’s engineering solutions, reputation and intellectual property
Key Accountabilities
Mechanical Engineering
- Able to prepare detailed schematics of mechanical systems for customer projects
- Summarize man-hour needs and estimates for progress reports
- Maintain close contact with customer’s production teams and external consultants for customer trials and quality reviews
- Able to manage Time Schedule for the site assistants
Site Supervising
- Coordinate some of the pre-installation activities i.e: conceptual design and preliminary design development, program and documents/specification review and schedule development.
- Contribute to the procurement, and logistic strategies in accordance with Green Power standard operating practices and processes
- Maintain excellent relationships with outsourced suppliers, project sub contractors to enable workflow efficiencies and repeatability
- Prepare reports and submissions for project manager and engineering manager
- Promote sound capital expenditure and manage cost with vigilance by spotting opportunities for improved efficiencies
