Improvement Engineer
(Banten – Merak – Banten)
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in providing plant data for gap analyses and identification of plant-level improvement opportunities.
- Validate improvement opportunities and help in building the Plant-Specific Technology Plot.
- Identify and evaluate improvements in Environmental, Health &Safety, product quality, productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Implement projects as identified in the Plant-Specific Technology Plot.
- Help in plant operations when called upon.
- Lead the team to close the gaps (LPP, LOPA, EHS, asset utilization, operating cost) in the Plant.
- Participates on six sigma projects as green belt project leader and/or green belt team member.
- Works with Technical Advising and plant personnel to optimize operations, meet Business and plant goals (production, cost, quality).
- Implements best practices in operations in order to optimize operations.
- Ensures Most Effective Technology (MET) and specific Operating Discipline requirements are in place.
- Initiates changes to Plant Operating procedures to ensure they are valid and up to date.
- Understands and applies skills and knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology to maximize plant asset utilization and produce low cost, quality products.
- Networks with other engineers on site and within the global business to leverage knowledge on plant operations (production, improvement, etc.).
- As required, communicates technical information and issues to plant personnel, technology or expertise centers.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
- GPA min 3.00
- Able to speak and write English fluently (TOEFL min. 500)
- Applicants must be willing to work in Merak – Banten.
- Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- 3-4 years experince in similar roles at petrochemical/chemical industries
- Excellent teamworking, and has very excellent analytical and leadership skill
