Project Manager
(Jakarta)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure commercial awareness is maintained during the direction, monitoring and control the Project activities for the Project in order to ensure that all costs are captured, forecasts are accurate, a neutral cash flow position is maintained, risk register is accurate, reporting on time, to maximize the ability of the Project to return a profit.
- Direct, monitor and control the construction activities of the Project in order to ensure that it is completed safely, on time and to the total satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and meeting the quality expectations of the company.
- Really accountable for the project achieving all safety targets as well as the realization of the budgeted profit as well as all aspects of the project meeting the agreed KPI’s by being involved with all safety, commercial, cost, procurement and plotting activities from commencement of the project to the issue of the practical completion.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in project management / construction management / project control management is required for this position.
- Experienced in material handlings, overland conveyor and earthworks for large mining projects.
- Willing to work extended hours to ensure project completion on time.
- Computer literate, including knowledge of ERP systems like SAP / JD Edwards.
- Organizational, supervisory and negotiating skills.
- Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and details records.
- Take ownership of all reporting to the client and ensure that targets are regularly met.
- Be directly involved with forecasting of costs and meeting the cost control constraints of the Project.
- This position is open for Filipinos to work in Jakarta but willing to travel to site if needed. We are particularly interested in candidates who have overseas experience.
