Country HR Director (Power Industry)

Responsibilities:
- To lead the HR Department in Indonesia, our client, one of the leading power companies is seeking for an Country HR Director (Power Industry). This position reports directly to the VP Human Resource Asia Pacific.
Job Description:
- Lead HR activities across Indonesia and to act as the point of contact to the Regional function
- Oversee employee relations and industrial relations at the various sites
- Implement staffing plans
- Lead talent acquisition and development
- Ensure corporate governance and compliance
- Manage and support Performance Management activities.
- Develop Training and Development Plans with particular emphasis on key talent
- Develop employee engagement across the sites
- Implement corporate HR programs
Requirements:
- At least 10 years experience with 5 years experience in an HR management role leading teams of HR generalists.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field
- Proven experience in manufacturing human resource with size of organization up to 400 people
- Previous experience in assisting the company through acquisition, merger or joint venture will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritization skills
- Advanced ability to develop and integrate HR strategies and initiatives with company’s business strategies with minimal supervision to no supervision.
- Strong interpersonal communication, listening skills, critical writing and thinking skills
- Brilliant ability as a consultant/negotiator to influence company senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Indonesian Human Resources laws and employment law. Proven track record in industrial relation and labor dispute will be an advantage
- Fluent in English
