Our client is a leading player in the Marine / Shipbuilding industry. They are currently looking for a suitably qualified candidate for the position Project Purchasing Officer.
Project Purchasing Officer $2K – $3.5K
SGD 2000 – 3400
(Singapore – Batam)
Responsibilities:
- This is a Batam Based position. Accommodations & meals will be provided.
- Procurement / purchasing of equipments, materials and services for the new build activities
- Coordination in relation to allocated purchasing activities
- Initiate purchasing documentation procedure
- Coordinate buy order confirmations, specifications compliance, timely delivery and support
- Help in the maintenance of the approved vendors list, seeking and identification of new vendors or sources of supply, to improve the competitiveness of the purchasing activities.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in purchasing operations in a similar environment
- Bilingual in English & Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Able to work under pressure meeting timeline
